Barney & The Night I Met The Vampire & First Times

As I explained in my recent blog post, Barney was originally supposed to be a four-chapter fic (intended chapters are indicated in the list below as O1 – O4) but it’s slowly turning into a whole universe of fics 😉 with its own spin-off series. (I know, how the F did that happen?)

As it is with most (?) good spin-offs, Wendell’s backstory (The Night I Met The Vampire) is a lot darker, more adult-themed, than the original Barney. None of the themes are anything that Ms Anne Rice herself wouldn’t (or didn’t) cover in her own stories, though. So if you’re fine with her work, you can handle my fics. 😉

You can read Barney without reading The Night I Met The Vampire, you won’t miss anything, if the latter is not to your taste. It also works the other way around.

You can read all chapters of Barney (once they’re completed and published) and then read all of The Night I Met The Vampire but you can also go by this suggested reading order which roughly puts them in chronological order.

Links will be updated as I finish the chapters. Some aren’t public yet.

Chapter descriptions might contain SPOILERS but I tried to keep it vague. It’s mainly so I remember what I meant to cover in each chapter. 😉

Since I’ve apparently became stupidly fond of Wendell, my brain child, he’ll return in First Times, another multi-chapter fic as well.
